Job description

Job Title: Material Handler (Forklift)

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm

Pay: $22.00/hour

Location: Burlington, ON - Sutton Drive and Pachino Court

This is a long-term opportunity in a fast-paced automotive production facility. The ideal candidate will have long term experience as a material handler and is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. We are looking for candidates who can interview and start as soon as possible!

Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading trailers manually and using a forklift/pump truck.
  • Move product between warehouse and production / heat treating spaces.
  • Ensure all incoming/outgoing parts are tagged and matched with proper documentation.
  • Notify Production Manager of any untagged parts in the shipping area.
  • Coordinate courier and freight services as needed.
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to shipping/receiving.
  • Support heat treating and anodizing operations as necessary.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of recent counterbalance forklift experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and complete general labour duties
  • Valid counterbalance forklift license
  • Excellent communication skills (reading, writing, verbal - English)
  • Willing to provide a Criminal Record Search
