Marmot Basin Jasper AB Snow School Instructor Levels 3 & 4

Marmot Basin, Jasper, AB - Part-time, Seasonal, Full-time. Job details: Reports to Snow School Assistant Director and Director of Skiing.

Position Overview: Level 4 Instructors will teach the full spectrum of products, including instructor training, private lessons, FAM tours, and school/youth groups. Level 3 Instructors will also teach various products, with a focus on technical lessons in black and double black terrain.

Responsibilities for Snow School Instructors include advocating safety, punctuality, professionalism, and being approachable and friendly to guests and staff. Instructors must acquire a proficient knowledge of the mountain, demonstrate a good understanding of high-performance skis and snowboards, and relay customer comments to supervisors.

• Lesson Types: Instructor training, private lessons, FAM tours, school/youth groups, and more.

Qualifications: Minimum CSIA or CASI Level 3 certification, physically fit, and able to assist clients. Prior experience in a Snow Sports School is required. Additional teaching qualifications are considered an asset.
