Digital Marketing Specialist

Based in Stoney Creek, Fruitland Manufacturing is the global manufacturing leader of mobile vacuum pumps. We make the toughest, most durable pumps in the industry. Our brand is One Tough Pump, and it can be found in agriculture, waste management, oil and gas, and many other industries.

We are looking for a well-rounded digital marketer to oversee and implement Fruitland’s marketing programs. This is a hands-on role. You will be a one-person marketing team, responsible for all marketing activities — from planning to design to execution. Are you up for the challenge?

What to Expect

In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of Fruitland’s marketing:

1. Manage the creation and scheduling of social media posts for Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
2. Qualify and distribute leads to sales and distributors.
3. Manage a weekly product email flyer, including planning the marketing calendar, writing copy, editing graphics, and scheduling campaigns.
4. Plan and coordinate participation in trade shows and industry events.
5. Maintain and update the website with new content and SEO optimization.
6. Manage relationships with marketing, web, and advertising vendors.

This role is focused on the tactical execution of marketing initiatives, and you will be responsible for all related activities.

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ years of experience in B2B digital marketing.
• Diploma or degree with a marketing specialization.
• Proven experience in social media and digital marketing across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
• Ability to update marketing collateral using Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva, and collaborate with designers or create assets independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; friendly and customer-oriented.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.

Additional considerations include experience with social scheduling tools, marketing automation, and managing email newsletters. A portfolio of writing and marketing samples is preferred.

This is an office-based position at 324 Leaside Avenue, Stoney Creek, requiring 3-5 days per week in the office.
