Job summary

A well-known mountain resort in Canada is seeking a Marketing Services & Production Specialist to oversee the production lifecycle of marketing assets. You will ensure quality and timely delivery of materials while managing workflows and vendor coordination. Ideal candidates will have a background in marketing or graphic production, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and strong organizational skills. This role requires a valid driver’s license and occasional weekend work, located in beautiful Sun Peaks.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years’ experience in production management, preferably within hospitality.
  • Strong decision-making skills with ability to evaluate proofs and recommend solutions.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to work occasional weekends.

At Sun Peaks Resort, every sign, display, and in-resort communication plays a key role in delivering a seamless guest experience. As our Marketing Services & Production Specialist, you will manage and be hands‑on involved in the planning, production, and lifecycle management of all physical marketing assets across Sun Peaks Resort (SPR) and Sun Peaks Grand Hotel (SPG). You will lead the full 4‑walls production workflow, from intake and scheduling to vendor management, proofing, quality control, installation logistics, and ongoing audits. Your focus is ensuring all materials are accurate, consistent, and aligned with operational and brand standards, helping guests navigate the resort clearly and confidently.

Compensation Information: $65,000 to $70,000 per annum

Physical Requirement: Medium; work activities involve handling loads up to 20kg; predominantly in an indoor setting.

This job position requires physical presence at the designated location.

Skills You Bring With You
  • Post‑secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Production, or a related field
  • 3–5 years’ experience in production management, marketing coordination, or creative services, ideally within hospitality, tourism, or resort settings
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) with expertise in production‑ready file setup
  • Demonstrated experience owning production workflows, managing vendors, and coordinating multi‑stakeholder creative deliverables
  • Strong decision‑making skills with the ability to evaluate proofs, identify issues, and recommend solutions
  • Exceptional organizational and time‑management abilities; comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • High attention to detail and commitment to brand quality
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and a collaborative, problem‑solving mindset
  • Passion for outdoor recreation (ski, snowboard, bike, golf) considered an asset
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to work occasional weekends and evenings for activations
Primary Responsibilities
Project & Production Leadership
  • Oversee the end‑to‑end production lifecycle for all in‑resort/4‑walls marketing assets, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery
  • Manage routing, scheduling, and production workflows in Monday.com, ensuring deadlines, proofs, and stakeholder approvals remain on track
  • Own vendor coordination, including sourcing, quoting, proofing, and installation logistics
  • Approve production proofs and recommend solutions to maintain quality and cost‑efficiency
  • Identify workflow improvements and make recommendations to enhance production processes, vendor performance, and internal efficiencies across all core areas of work
In‑Resort & 4‑Walls Marketing Management
  • Own the in‑resort asset inventory and lifecycle, ensuring all business units (ski, bike, hike, golf, F&B, retail, sports school, lodging, events) are supported with accurate, up‑to‑date materials
  • Conduct regular audits, identify gaps or refresh needs, and propose updates to optimize guest experience and operational clarity
Creative Asset Development & Support
  • Support the Creative Manager with basic design‑related needs, applying expert production judgment to ensure brand consistency and quality
  • Lead the preparation of production‑ready files, artwork updates, and layout tasks across print, in‑resort, and digital materials in collaboration with the Creative Manager
Events & Partnership Fulfillment
  • Lead the production planning and asset execution for events and activations in collaboration with the Events Team
  • Own fulfillment tracking for in‑resort partnership deliverables, ensuring accurate execution and alignment with partner expectations
Brand Continuity & Support
  • Maintain brand standards across all in‑resort assets, ensuring visual identity and messaging are consistently applied
  • Draft and refine copy for signage, promotional displays, and guest‑facing materials in collaboration with Creative and Communications leads
Cross‑Departmental & Operational Marketing Support
  • Support MarComms projects, campaigns, and on‑mountain activations as a production lead
  • Provide responsive, knowledgeable support to internal departments, helping them navigate creative and production processes
Reporting, Insights & Communication
  • Provide structured, timely updates to the Creative Manager on project status, risks, and resource needs
  • Deliver weekly/monthly summaries highlighting completed work, upcoming priorities, and operational improvements
  • Identify recurring issues in production or installation processes and recommend long‑term solutions
  • Share observations and informal performance insights from in‑resort assets to guide strategic planning
