EQ3 EQ3 is hiring for one of the more exciting Marketing Director jobs in Winnipeg, offering the opportunity to lead brand, ecommerce, and performance marketing for a design-led retail brand with national reach. They are seeking a confident, collaborative, and hands-on Marketing Director to lead brand and performance marketing across all consumer touchpoints — from paid media and ecommerce to content, creators, events, and in-store experience.
This role is equal parts strategy and execution. You’ll define marketing objectives, identify opportunities for growth, and provide clear direction, while staying close enough to the work to ensure quality, momentum, and impact. You’re not expected to do everything yourself, but you are expected to understand the work deeply, challenge it thoughtfully, and step in when needed.

You’re a strong listener, a steady presence, and a trusted partner to your team and cross-functional peers. Set and lead marketing strategy aligned with EQ3’s brand and business goals
Develop and execute integrated marketing plans, campaigns, product launches, and events
Lead paid media and performance marketing, balancing brand building with growth outcomes
Oversee content strategy, creative direction, and brand standards across all channels
Provide strategic direction for ecommerce, email, and digital customer experience
Guide social media, creator partnerships, and community engagement
Ensure consistency across online, in-store, and experiential marketing
Manage marketing budgets, agencies, and external partners
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing marketing team
8+ years of experience in marketing, brand, or content-led roles
Proven experience leading and developing teams
Strong strategic thinking paired with a hands-on mindset
Deep understanding of content, ecommerce, email, social, paid media, and retail marketing
Excellent communication, judgment, and collaboration skills
Comfort working in a creative, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment
Assets (nice to have): Photography or design skills; French language proficiency.
