The Marketing Coordinator will assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales for our cannabis products across all of our brands. This role involves supporting the marketing team with day-to-day tasks, coordinating events, customer service, and analyzing marketing data and assisting with marketing materials. The ideal candidate has a passion for the cannabis industry, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This role is based in our Downtown Vancouver office and reports to the Brand Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • In depth understanding of the marketing calendar to be able to provide proactively support all brand leaders across the portfolio. Tasks include shipping and delivery, accounting support, inventory management and influencer marketing support.
  • Develop an understanding of products in each brands portfolio and be able to answer customer questions with a high degree of confidence
  • Plan and execute brand events, trade shows, and promotional activities. Handle logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site support.
  • Support the development of marketing materials including trade assets, website content, decks, and briefs, while managing our digital asset management system.
  • Track and manage all brand-team accounting needs, including purchase order creation and execution.
  • Act as a representative of the brand at events, promoting a positive image and educating the public about products.
  • Work closely with the sales team, product development, and other departments to align marketing strategies with business goals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the cannabis industry or a regulated industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), marketing software and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work cross functionally across all departments
  • Familiarity with cannabis culture, products, and industry regulations is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed for events. Valid drivers license with access to a vehicle
