Job Summary

The Marketing Coordinator will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand presence and storytelling for MAX Montreal. Responsibilities include designing and editing digital assets, creating and scheduling social media content, and filming and producing engaging video and photo materials to highlight our programs and events.

The Marketing Coordinator will also support event marketing by collaborating with vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure a seamless attendee experience. Through creative campaigns and thoughtful promotion, this role will contribute to the success of MAX’s mission by delivering memorable events, elevating brand visibility, and fostering meaningful engagement.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Design
  • Support the development and execution of marketing strategies to promote programs, events, and initiatives.
  • Create content calendars and ensure timely delivery of campaigns across digital and offline channels.
  • Manage organizational social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter/X, etc.) and drive growth in engagement and reach.
  • Design and edit marketing materials including social media posts, flyers, presentations, and digital assets.
  • Film and edit promotional videos, event highlights, and behind-the-scenes content.
  • Monitor analytics to track campaign performance and adjust engagement strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the events team to design and execute marketing campaigns for upcoming events.
  • Build relationships with partner organizations, influencers, and media outlets to expand reach.
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, volunteer-driven environment.
  • 2–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or digital media, preferably working in a corporate setting.
  • Excellent written and visual communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and visuals for different audiences and across different social media platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience using design and content tools such as Canva or Adobe Suite, as well as proficiency in collaborative tools such as Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspaces.
  • A collaborative attitude and a passion for empowering women and advancing representation.
  • An ability to remain calm and adaptable under pressure and maintain a customer-service mindset.
  • Experience with photography/videography is considered an asset.
