CAA Saskatchewan is seeking a Director of Marketing and Communications to contribute to organizational strategy and act as a thought partner who will work closely with business line leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that aligns with organizational priorities and supports business line objectives, in collaboration with the CEO and senior leadership team.
  • Oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns across business lines, ensuring brand consistency, efficient use of resources, and a strong focus on measurable ROI.
  • Represent CAA Saskatchewan on a national marketing task force, contributing to strategic marketing decisions through effective collaboration with regional marketing leaders nationwide.
  • Collaborate with IT to optimize data capabilities and ensure the Marketing team integrates data-driven insights to improve campaign outcomes, boost member engagement, and support lead generation efforts.
  • Drive strategic vision by guiding the overall creative direction and championing the development of engaging content and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Provide strategic guidance on developing and executing communication strategies and community engagement activities, ensuring compelling storytelling across all channels and audiences.
  • Act as a steward for internal communications, media relations, and reputation efforts—encompassing proactive strategies and crisis management.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach skilled marketing and communications teams, setting clear performance goals tied to organizational objectives.
  • Model CAA's values and leadership principles while building strong cross-functional relationships.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field (Master's degree an asset).
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in marketing and communications, preferably in a multi-line or membership-based organization.
  • Proven experience leading both marketing and communications functions, including advertising, internal communications and PR.
  • Exceptional coaching skills with a demonstrated track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities with a high degree of independence.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with executives, media, and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience representing an organization on external committees, boards, or task forces.
