We are seeking an experienced Marine Electrical Technologist to support the design, automation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical systems across various vessel projects. This role is hands‑on, fast‑paced, and ideal for someone who enjoys both technical design and field service work.

What You’ll Do
  • Design and integrate marine electrical power and control systems
  • Program and commission PLC-based automation systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.)
  • Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot instrumentation and control devices
  • Diagnose electrical and automation issues in workshop and onboard environments
  • Support installations, commissioning, and sea trials
  • Create wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and marine clients
What We’re Looking For
  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Marine Systems, or related field
  • 3–5+ years of experience in marine electrical systems or industrial automation
  • Knowledge of marine electrical standards (ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s, etc.)
  • Experience with PLC programming, VFDs, HMIs, and control networks
  • Ability to read and produce electrical schematics (CAD required)
  • Strong troubleshooting and field service experience
  • Valid driver’s license + ability to travel to shipyards and vessels
