Job Summary:
Hockey Academy in Maple Ridge needs a teacher Tues 1 hour between 9-11 a.m., Wed
2 hours 9-11 a.m, Thurs 1 hour between 9 - 11 a.m. Gr 3- 7 students will be
working online in a classroom and teacher/tutor will be nearby if they have
questions. September to June. Will follow school district calendar and holidays.


Responsibilities:
  • Assessing student's needs and developing a plan to help them succeed
  • Assisting students with homework, projects, test preparation and assignments.
  • Teaching skills to improve academic performance, including study strategies, note-taking skills, and approaches to answering test questions
  • Providing students with positive and constructive feedback
  • Offering feedback on progress to students' parents
