Job Description

A Greenhouse Manufacturer is looking for a motivated and mechanically inclined individual to join their team. Looking for a candidate with Leadhand or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing a production line
• Directing Production Workers
• Ensuring the integrity and safety of both the product and the employees.
• Following lean manufacturing and 5S programs
• Assisting trade persons, machine operators and welders
• Load and unload materials and moving materials
• Providing assistance with various production tasks
• Using hand tools, brake presses and drill presses
• Sorting and cleaning salvaged materials
• Removing rubble and other debris
• Tend or feed machines or equipment
• Stacking and piling lumber onto skids for shipment
• Measuring greenhouse parts for accurate drilling

Qualifications

• Must have leadhand experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Must have proven experience with lean manufacturing and 5S
• Able to lift repeatedly
• Using measuring tape (Basic knowledge required)
• Need work boots, gloves and safety glasses
• Must be able to get to Vineland as there is no public transit available

Shifts

8am to 5pm, Mondays to Fridays

Salary

$60K to $65K/year
