A leading professional services firm in Canada is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer specializing in Nuclear. In this role, you will establish manufacturing procedures, support shop operations, and ensure compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience, a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and expertise in relevant design software. The Opportunity: Our Nuclear subsector supports clients in the nuclear industry within WSP’s ERI (Energy, Resources and Industry) sector. We offer services including technical and feasibility studies, project management, detailed design, procurement, site management, quality surveillance, commissioning and asset management. This division is active as nuclear power and new technologies develop globally, with Canada as a leader in refurbishments, new builds, and related capital projects.
WSP is currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer, Nuclear to join one of our Ontario offices. Some projects may require travel to Tiverton, Ontario; Toronto, Ontario; Saint John, New Brunswick; Pickering and Oshawa, Ontario.
The Manufacturing Engineer will establish and refine manufacturing procedures, prepare and maintain shop documentation conforming to quality system requirements, and assess and resolve non-conforming conditions that affect the product. This role also supports shop activities through facilities and equipment maintenance, upgrades or installations, and tool design as needed to support shop operations and safety.
