Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manufacturing Coordinator to support our Manufacturing Manager in coordinating and streamlining production activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing background, experience with ERP/MRP systems such as JobBOSS, and be comfortable managing work orders, allocating tasks to CNC machines, and working across departments to ensure timely and accurate production flow.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is eager to learn, and takes initiative to solve problems and optimize operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the Manufacturing Manager in daily operations and project coordination
- Allocate job tasks and work orders to appropriate CNC machines based on capacity, capability, and priority
- Utilize JobBOSS (or similar manufacturing ERP system) for scheduling, data entry, and tracking of jobs
- Complete and manage traveler forms (work order packets), ensuring accurate documentation and data integrity
- Communicate regularly with Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Inventory teams to align on material availability and procurement needs
- Act as a liaison between Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow
- Monitor and assist in production timelines and address scheduling conflicts or delays proactively
- Perform basic data analysis to track job progress and provide status updates to management
- Maintain high accuracy in data entry, job documentation, and system updates
- Help identify process improvements and support implementation of best practices
- Willingly learn new skills and take on additional tasks as needed to support the team
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production coordination role
- Experience with JobBOSS or other ERP/MRP software required
- Supply Chain Management Diploma or Degree preferred but not required
- Forklift certification preferred
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, CNC machining knowledge is an asset but not required
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with cross-functional teams
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think on your feet
- Self-motivated and able to take initiative with minimal supervision
- Quick learner with a willingness to grow into additional responsibilities

Pay: $80,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
