A leading global professional services firm in Winnipeg is seeking a Tax Manager to join their Private Tax practice. You will provide expert tax advice to high net worth clients, managing compliance and planning needs. As a Tax Manager you will be a part of our Private Tax practice. You will be part of a team of subject matter specialists who provide advice to private organizations and high net worth business owners and individuals on domestic and cross-border tax planning, estate wealth transfer and postmortem planning, asset protection strategies and philanthropic planning. Our Private Tax practice works closely with other tax teams including our transaction tax and international tax group.
As a manager you will be responsible for recommending and implementing tax strategies that align with the clients’ objectives, corresponding with legal counsel and tax authorities on client issues, assisting with reorganizations, researching compliance and planning issues, and reviewing personal, corporate and trust tax returns.
