A leading tourism organization in Canada seeks a Manager, Sustainability to advance their sustainability goals. The role involves developing and managing programs, particularly in relation to the Global Destination Sustainability Index. Candidates should have experience in sustainability management and a collaborative approach to working with diverse stakeholders. This is an 18-month contract positioned in the heart of the stunning Canadian Rockies.
This new position plays an active role in advancing our vision to Lead Tourism for Good and is responsible for co‑developing, implementing, managing, monitoring, and reporting on programs, initiatives, and strategies that align with our long‑term sustainability goals. A key responsibility of this role is to manage Banff & Lake Louise Tourism’s participation in the Global Destination Sustainability Index (GDSI), ensuring continuous improvement in our performance and leveraging the index as a benchmark to guide strategic actions.
This position is an 18‑month contract.
