A leading retail consultancy is seeking an experienced Manager for Store Development to oversee the architectural planning and construction of retail locations in Mexico. Ideal candidates should have over 10 years of experience in project management and a deep understanding of design processes within a global organization. This role involves mentoring team members and driving strategic planning for store openings, ensuring adherence to brand standards and timelines.
The Store Development team is responsible for the architectural layout planning, store design, and construction of all retail locations in México, inclusive of mainline stores, pop-up stores, outlets, and Alternate Channels innovative concept stores. We deliver on the company’s strategic growth plans through highly efficient operating standards and the focus of sweat, grow, connect as manifested through the execution of the brand’s pinnacle expression: the physical retail store. Through clarity, accuracy, and efficiency we support the business ambitions and enhance guest experience while delivering consistent design queues to create and reinforce a strong brand identity.
This role is ideal for a seasoned leader with experience in mature, global organizations and a strong background in project and program management. The Manager will oversee all functions of store design and construction in México, ensuring cohesive timelines, scalable processes, and strategic alignment with global standards. They will be responsible for transforming complex, ambiguous work into clean, repeatable systems and tools that support future growth. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on executor—able to zoom out to shape long-term vision and zoom in to guide detailed implementation. They will also play a key role in mentoring and upskilling the local team, helping to elevate capabilities and lead the transition to new systems and tools.
