A leading accounting advisory firm in Ottawa is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager to support public sector clients with financial reporting and accounting standards. Ideal candidates will have over 6 years of experience in public accounting and hold a CPA designation. This role demands strong project management skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage client workshops. You will also participate in business development efforts and collaborate with other advisory teams. This is a full-time position with required office presence for at least 3 days a week, including some travel.

The Public Sector Accounting Advisory team in the Ontario & Atlantic region is looking for a Manager/Senior Manager to join their Ottawa team.
In this role you will leverage your technical, financial reporting and project management skills in order to support a wide variety of public sector clients through challenges including new standards implementation projects, business process reviews, complex transactions or restructurings and financial management initiatives.
At times, business needs arise, and employees are required and agree to work beyond their normal workday or work week to fulfill the accountabilities required for their job. Likewise, people need time to devote to personal matters, and our approach to flexibility provides for this.
You will be required to work in the office or at client sites for a minimum of 3 days a week. This position includes travel up to 20%.
