We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure a high-quality dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. This role requires a hands-on approach to both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring that all aspects of the restaurant run smoothly.
Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations, including staff supervision and training.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Utilize POS systems for efficient order processing and cash handling.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly.
- Conduct interviews and hire staff as needed to maintain an effective team.
- Develop and implement training programs for new employees in areas such as serving, food preparation, and hospitality.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to create menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.
- Excellent supervisory skills with experience in team management and leadership.
- Proficient in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient operations.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations gracefully.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations related to food handling.
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training staff effectively.
- Background in hospitality or hotel management is a plus.

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
