The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) delivers strategic and operational HR support to designated business units. You will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, aligning people strategies with our goals, drive organizational effectiveness, and foster a high-performance culture. You will support the Legal & Risk Management and Finance functions.

  • Location: You will be based in our Toronto office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.
  • Reporting Relationship: You will report to VP, Human Resources.
Your Moneris Career - What you'll do
  • Function as the first point of contact for internal business groups for all HR matters directly and through specialists from across the centres of expertise within HR.
  • Build partnerships with internal client groups to become thoroughly familiar with their needs, concerns and issues to partner on effective human capital solutions.
  • Support HR program development, revisions and implementation across the organization. Further responsible for building knowledge and insight of business and/or employee needs to ensure programs are aligned and utilized appropriately.
  • Lead and guide management to resolution on all employee relations matters;
Strategic Partnership
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support our objectives and Enterprise standards
  • Be a trusted advisor on organizational design, workforce planning, and succession planning.
Talent Management & Development
  • Drive performance management processes, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Partner with Learning & Development to identify skill gaps and create development plans.
Employee Relations & Engagement
  • Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Champion projects that enhance employee engagement and retention.
Change Management
  • Support ongoing organizational change initiatives, which could include restructuring, mergers/acquisitions and cultural transformation.
  • Coach leaders on effective change leadership practices.
HR Analytics & Reporting
  • Use data-driven insights to influence decision-making and measure HR program effectiveness.
Your Moneris Career - What you bring
  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Business/ Human Resources or a related field.
  • CHRP designation completed or in progress.
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution.
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Previous experience in the payment industry considered an asset
  • Experience with HRIS Systems (previous experience with Workday is considered an asset).
  • Knowledge of Employment Standards legislation across Canada.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data to generate actionable insights to support strategic decision making
