Hello, I'm Océane, Recruitment Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance and accounting professions. I specialize in supporting accounting firms and handle both temporary and permanent recruitment in the Greater Montreal area.
I am currently searching for a Tax Director for an accounting firm located in the Snowdon neighborhood.
Your responsibilities:
-Review Canadian tax returns for corporations, individuals, partnerships, and trusts.
-Ensure all tax returns and data are thoroughly and consistently reviewed.
-Work closely with partners and managers on various files, including those involving complex tax structures.
-Identify tax compliance issues and develop tailored solutions for our clients' needs.
-Recognize planning opportunities and suggest recommendations to minimize tax exposure.
-Supervise and be accountable for the work of staff members.
-Develop and maintain client relationships.
-Provide advice and training to other staff members.

Your profile:
-Over 5 years of relevant professional experience in Canadian tax within an accounting firm.
-Enrolled in or completed a Master's program in taxation or advanced CPA Canada taxation courses.
-Strong experience in interpreting and applying tax legislation.
-Proficient in tax research methods and databases.
-Ability to work flexible hours and meet required budgets.
-Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
-Experience with CaseWare and Taxprep is an asset.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
-Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written, to communicate with bilingual clients.
