Job Description

Reporting to the Director, Finance, the Manager will support business valuations and financial planning & analysis (FP&A). Responsibilities include reviewing asset valuations, financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and providing strategic insights. The Manager will collaborate with the financial reporting team on quarterly and annual reporting mandates.

Responsibilities:

  • Support BEP’s annual business planning by maintaining and updating the corporate model for strategic decision-making;
  • Review and challenge regional business plans and valuation models;
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual private fund investment valuations and property, plant, and equipment revaluations, including detailed DCF models;
  • Help prepare consolidated financial forecasts and track global subsidiary results;
  • Analyze historical results, conduct variance analyses, and identify key business drivers;
  • Support quarterly and year-end financial reporting of key metrics;
  • Assist with ad hoc analyses for investors, rating agencies, and senior management;
  • Support investor relations activities, including the annual investor day;
  • Oversee reporting process improvements and mentor team members;
  • Collaborate across groups to improve and streamline processes for efficiency.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Business, Finance, or related field;
  • Professional designations (CPA, CFA, CBV) preferred;
  • At least 5 years in finance or accounting roles;
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and financial systems like Bloomberg, CapitalIQ, OneStream;
  • Leadership experience and ability to manage projects under tight deadlines;
  • Strong communication skills and adaptability in fast-paced environments;
