A leading professional services firm in Canada is seeking a Tax Manager to join its Domestic Tax team. This role involves coaching and mentoring tax colleagues, establishing client relationships, and advising on complex tax matters, including corporate and personal tax compliance. The firm prioritizes an inclusive culture and competitive compensation, with salary ranges between $95,000 and $120,000 in Vancouver. Candidates should have completed CPA Canada In‑Depth Tax Course or a Master's in Taxation.
As a Tax Manager in our Domestic Tax team, you’ll work with a wide variety of clients and build your experience in new industries. Working with some of Canada’s top gurus in Tax, a career in tax at DoaneGrant Thornton is an opportunity to create your unique career journey.
Joining our robust team of over 400 tax professionals means you’ll collaborate with colleagues across service lines such as Advisory and Specialty Tax, which will broaden your perspective and help you solve client problems, delivering personalized solutions.
We are a large and growing professional services firm that still feels like a community. We employ about 3000 people across Canada, and we truly care about our colleagues, our clients and the communities where we work and live. We’re building a thriving organization that’s purpose driven and still want to remember what your favourite milkshake flavour is.
You talk with the CFO from a large manufacturing client, and Lynne, the Tax Partner, will challenge your thinking as you work through uncovering pain points and providing tax solutions. You share your feedback with your coachees, ensuring they have what they need to complete their files and feel supported. Later, you get a call from Namita, who has a question about taking over her dad’s business. A quick Teams check‑in with Mike, who specializes in International Tax, ensures you’re ready for tomorrow’s meeting. But not before a quick jog on the treadmill overlooking the water at the free gym downstairs.
