Job description

Be the Force Behind Client Success

At The Targeted Strategies Group, we don’t just make plans — we bring them to life. With strategy, execution, and impact at our core, we’re on the lookout for a sharp, service-driven Manager, Client Accounts to join our Operations team.

In this role, you'll operate as part of a dedicated unit: a Senior Advisor, an Account Service Representative (ASR), and you. Together, you’ll form a high-performing client-focused team that drives business forward, ensuring complex insurance transactions move seamlessly from start to finish while building trust and delivering results that clients can see and feel.

This is not a typical account management role. You’ll be the-behind-the-scenes expert who makes complex insurance transactions happen. From underwriting to funding, you’ll ensure every step is handled with precision, care, and professionalism. You’ll build trust, remove friction, and deliver optimal client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Results: Partner with a Senior Advisor and ASR to deliver seamless execution and proactive client service as a team.
  • Own the Process: Manage all aspects of insurance applications and underwriting memos with precision and accountability.
  • Financial & Banking Coordination: Partner with our Strategic Client Credit team to handle financial information, manage banking applications, and negotiate terms that move deals forward with confidence and speed.
  • Transaction Execution: Oversee loan advances and payments — on time, every time.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Prepare detailed underwriting memos, cash flow documents, insurance related packages and ensure we stay audit-ready.
  • Client Education: Empower clients’ accountants and advisors with clear guidance and reporting support.
  • CRM & Communication: Keep systems updated and information flowing through the team.
  • Support Sales Impact: Work with our Solutions team to deliver compelling sales materials and tools.
  • Document Review: Scrutinize and prepare client documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Team Oversight: Lead and support Account Service Representatives to ensure quality execution across the board.
  • Policy Stewardship: Collaborate with the Strategic Client Credit team to manage annual policy renewals and renegotiate banking terms, ensuring continued value and alignment with clients’ evolving needs.

What You Bring

  • 5–10 years in a public accounting firm or professional services environment.
  • CPA designation required; In-Depth Tax course is a strong asset.
  • Mastery of MS Office Suite and CRM systems.
  • Strong communication with a talent for building lasting relationships with clients and their advisors.
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.
  • Strategic mindset with attention to detail.

Core Strengths We Value

  • Results-Driven: You deliver outcomes, not just check boxes.
  • Client-Centric: You think through the client lens — always.
  • Accountable: You own your work and drive it to the finish line.
  • Agile & Adaptive: You handle change with confidence and speed.
  • Organized & Proactive: You plan ahead and course-correct fast.
  • Collaborative: You’re a team-first thinker who lifts others up.
  • Big-Picture Thinker: You see how your work connects to broader business goals.
  • Sense of Urgency: You act fast, with focus and intention.
  • Clear Communicator: You say what needs to be said — clearly and confidently.
