A regional government agency in Alberta is seeking a full-time Manager, Capital Construction to oversee project management for capital infrastructure projects. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, a minimum of eight years of senior project management experience, and strong leadership abilities. You will supervise a team, manage project delivery, and develop infrastructure programs. Parkland County has an opportunity for a permanent, full-time Manager, Capital Construction position in the Engineering Services Department. Reporting to the Director, Engineering Services, the Manager, Capital Construction is responsible for project management and delivery of capital construction projects, primarily roadways and associated roadway infrastructure, from the planning stage through to completion. The Manager, Capital Construction supervises the activities of the capital construction team, providing mentorship, guidance, and development opportunities. This position is also responsible, with the consultation of the Director, for identifying and assisting with developing the four (4) year Capital Infrastructure Program and for the review and update of the engineering design standards and specifications used for infrastructure construction in the County.
A starting annual salary of $133,800 to $150,500, with a maximum earnings potential of $169,300, based on a 35-hour work week and option to join the Earned Day Off Program.
