Giatec Scientific Inc. is looking for an experienced and driven Manager, Business Development to lead and scale our business development efforts across North America. In this role, you will drive pipeline growth, develop high-performing BDRs, and execute strategies that support our revenue and market expansion.

We are looking for a strategic, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to build, coach, and optimize a results-driven team. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our go-to-market success and is ideal for someone seeking long-term growth in a technology-driven organization.

The base salary range for this role is expected to be between $60,000-$110,000 and the on-target earnings for this role is expected to be between $100,000-150,000 annually. Actual earnings will depend on individual performance and commission outcomes, and commissions are uncapped.

This role represents an existing vacancy within the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and execute business development strategy aligned with company revenue targets, market priorities, and long-term growth objectives.
  • Own pipeline generation and management, ensuring consistent creation, qualification, and progression of opportunities to meet forecasted goals.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Business Development Representatives (BDRs) through regular training, performance reviews, and ongoing feedback.
  • Set clear activity, pipeline, and conversion targets for the team, holding individuals accountable through data-driven performance tracking.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to align messaging, targeting, and go-to-market efforts.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities, including strategic accounts, partnerships, and emerging verticals.
  • Analyze performance metrics and market trends to optimize outreach strategies, improve conversion rates, and inform leadership decisions.
  • Represent the company externally through customer meetings, industry events, and strategic discussions to build brand presence and credibility.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Proven experience in business development or sales leadership, with a track record of building and scaling pipeline in a B2B environment.
  • Strong people management and coaching skills, including experience leading, developing, and performance-managing BDRs or sales teams.
  • Data-driven decision-making ability, with hands-on experience using CRM systems and metrics to forecast, track performance, and optimize outreach.
  • Strategic thinking and market insight, capable of identifying new opportunities, prioritizing accounts, and aligning efforts with company growth goals.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and represent the company at a senior level.
