The Opportunity

As an Assurance Manager, you'll take on a key leadership role, overseeing a portfolio of audit and assurance engagements. You'll work directly with Partners to manage client relationships, ensure compliance with professional standards, and mentor junior staff. This role is ideal for a public practice professional ready to advance into a higher‑impact leadership position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage audit and review engagements across a range of clients
  • Review financial statements for compliance with IFRS, ASPE, and ASNPO
  • Oversee related tax requirements tied to audit and review work
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients on accounting and business matters
  • Supervise and mentor staff, providing coaching and feedback
  • Ensure all engagements are delivered on time and to professional standards
  • Contribute to firm‑wide policies, initiatives, and process improvements
  • Lead training sessions and support the professional development of the team
What We're Looking For
  • CPA designation (required)
  • At least 1 year of experience as an Audit/Assurance Manager
  • Strong background in public company audits under IFRS
  • Proven leadership, communication, and client service skills
  • Long tenure and stability in prior roles considered an asset
