What you’ll do:
  • The Strategic Acquisition Account Executive (SAAE) is a direct quota carrier; you will be focused on developing prospect accounts leveraging cold calling and acquisition strategies in an assigned territory.
  • Understand customer needs, motivations, and potential objections to create an account plan for each agreed upon hunting target.
  • Work with US West leadership to create a Strategic Selling Plan and Quarterly Reviews that expand our footprint in your target accounts.
  • Working closely with vendor/partners with an enterprise sales mindset.
  • Partner with executives from leading tech companies to develop creative and innovative solutions.
  • Continuously enhance business acumen, manage pipeline efficiently, and demonstrate leadership when challenges arise.
  • Manage all aspects of account management, including processing quotes and orders, and exceeding customer expectations until the account is profitable, then a CAM will be assigned to assist.
  • Grow the book from $0 to $XXXK in billings by end of 2026, at which point the SAAE will be levelled into a CAE position according to billing plan.
What you bring to the table:
  • 5+ years' experience in the industry, with established relationships at the vendor and customer level.
  • Experience in Datacenters, Cloud and Networking. MSFT is a Plus.
  • Demonstrated capability to sell in Hybrid Cloud/AI/Modernization.
  • Demonstrated relationships build within target accounts.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure, network modernization & digital transformation capabilities.
  • Experience in prospecting with a successful track record of acquiring new buying accounts.
  • Proven track record of reaching sales targets and market growth plans.
  • Active listening skills and the ability to pivot your pitch based on real-time customer information.
  • High-level commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship building.
  • Very experienced in solution selling and creating value for business clients.
  • Problem‑solving skills with the ability to think outside the box.
  • A driven, self‑motivated attitude with the ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
