Job summary

A local hospitality company in Riverview, New Brunswick is seeking a dedicated maintenance worker to perform various cleaning and maintenance tasks in apartment complexes. The ideal candidate will be reliable and capable of performing minor repairs. Experience is advantageous, and applicants must have their own vehicle and a valid driver's license. This is a full-time, permanent position offering $18.00 to $20.00 hourly, to be negotiated, with no option for remote work.

• Experience in maintenance work is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
• Empty trash cans and other waste containers
• Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
• Perform minor repairs on appliances
• Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
• Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
• Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
• Work with minimal supervision
• Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
