Job description

We\'re seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our client in Lyn. As a Maintenance Technician you\'ll play a crucial role in contributing to the success of their manufacturing facility!

Benefits
  • Salary: $32.33 / hour with overtime after 40 hours, on-call pay
  • Salary increases every 500 hundred hours (tops out at $35.51)
  • Working hours: Full-time, Sunday - Thursday and on-call weekend rotation as scheduled
Responsibilities
  • Follow all required work safe practices, including lock-out tag-out, PPE, confine space safety awareness, chemical safety, fall protection, etc.
  • Perform all tasks in accordance with company safety and GMP policies / guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain and repair high-speed manufacturing, packaging and facility equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical / electronic equipment, including programmable controls, power supplies, drives, gages, and test equipment.
  • Make adjustments to equipment, ensuring proper performance and safe operating conditions.
  • Assist maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting.
  • Advise operators and line technicians of operation procedures and requirements for working safely with electrical / electronic and mechanical equipment and components.
  • Perform, document, and track all corrective and preventive maintenance, aiming to achieve maximum plant availability, with a target of zero unplanned downtime.
  • Install equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to specification.
  • Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Install, start up, and shut down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area.
  • Support and help implement continuous process improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Technical degree, diploma, or accredited apprenticeship program of the equivalent in a technical field.
  • Three (3) years of applicable experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical / electronic components and equipment, including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communication with peers, supervisors.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Must be flexible with work hours and be able to work overtime when needed.
  • Able to be on an on-call rotation.
  • Must be able to lift 52 lbs from floor to waist, and waist to shoulder.
  • Must be able to push / pull a maximum force of 55 lbs.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
