A health services organization is looking for a Maintenance Planner to manage and schedule maintenance work for hospital facilities. This full-time position requires you to oversee the computerized maintenance system and implement maintenance procedures. The successful candidate will hold a relevant post-secondary education. This role offers an annual retention allowance and operates primarily on a day shift pattern with weekends off.
In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.
As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance work for equipment repairs, preventative maintenance and capital work within the hospital facilities, in accordance with directives, procedures, standards and practices. You will manage and maintain the computerized maintenance system for demand and preventative maintenance. In addition, you will monitor, develop and implement the maintenance procedures for all buildings and special user equipment.
Completion of post‑secondary education in a related trade or technology program.
