About the position

This NAF (Non Appropriated Fund) position will be assigned to the Langley Inns at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Hampton, VA. This is a Regular Full-Time position with a guaranteed minimum of 35 hours a week. The primary purpose of this position is to plan and perform facility maintenance duties associated with Langley Inns and Lodging.

Requirements

• Knowledge of multiple skills and trade techniques are required. You must have knowledge and skill in carpentry, plumbing, painting trades/occupation and building plan specifications and blueprints.
• This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
• This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and one every three years thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
• This position is subject to a pre-employment drug screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
• The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
• The incumbent is required to be at least 18 years of age.
