Job summary

A regional employer in Port Alberni is looking for a Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance functions at the mill, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Qualifications

  • Industry experience, with Paper Mill experience preferred.
  • 5-10 years in-plant management or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates overall maintenance function of the Port Alberni Mill.
  • Ensures reliability to attain plant production levels.
  • Develops and executes maintenance activities.
  • Participates in recruitment and training of trades personnel.
  • Develops departmental budgets and advises on over-runs.
  • Directs implementation of Mill safety programs.
