Job summary

A leading staffing agency is seeking an experienced Maintenance & Reliability Planner in Lloydminster, SK. This full-time role involves developing and optimizing maintenance programs while collaborating with technical teams. Key responsibilities include leading maintenance planning, applying Reliability Centered Maintenance tools, and developing KPIs. A Journeyperson certification is preferred, along with strong SAP knowledge and Oil & Gas experience. This position offers a 12-month contract with competitive benefits.

Job description

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced Maintenance & Reliability Planner to support the development, optimization, and execution of maintenance programs across multiple facilities for our client in Lloydminster, SK. This role will collaborate closely with field technicians, reliability leads, and operations teams to improve equipment performance, enhance maintenance planning, and support long-term asset integrity.

  • Location: Lloydminster, SK
  • Shift: Monday – Friday | 8 hrs./day
  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time | 12-month contract

Responsibilities:
  • Lead closure of site-specific preventive maintenance program gaps.
  • Develop template recommended practices and job plans with field technicians.
  • Assist in creating maintenance programs for new facilities and major expansions.
  • Apply Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) tools to develop risk-based asset management strategies.
  • Develop Equipment Bill of Materials and identify critical & operating spare inventory.
  • Align maintenance programs with Safety Critical Equipment Performance Standards.
  • Support improvements in maintenance work planning, scheduling, and execution.
  • Create job aids and training materials to enhance SAP PM Module utilization.
  • Develop and report Maintenance & Reliability KPIs and dashboards, including master data change requests.
  • Standardized and optimized equipment maintenance strategies and plans.
  • Equipment Bill of Materials with recommended inventory levels.
  • Completion of master data change requests and notifications
Qualifications:
  • Journeyperson Instrumentation Technician or Electrician (preferred).
  • Planning and/or Maintenance & Reliability experience in Oil & Gas.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP PM module.
  • Experience in large facility operating environments, preferably upstream Thermal (SAGD).
  • Familiarity with safe work practices and industry standards for reliability and risk management.
  • Knowledge in failure investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Change management experience with large stakeholder groups
  • Prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines and deliver results safely.
  • Adapts quickly to changing priorities and environments.
  • Builds competency and supports others through training strategies.
  • Translates complex technical information into clear processes and tools.
  • Builds strong relationships and resolves conflicts effectively.
  • Applies process knowledge to add significant business value.
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
