We are currently accepting applications for Long Term Care Assistant for our Halifax Campus. The LTCA's are part of the team of staff working on the resident house (CCA's, LPN, RN, housekeeping staff, CSA teams) with interactions with a broader interdisciplinary team. They will work closely with the CCAs and recreation therapy programmers to assist the resident to meet their daily goals, as part of the resident care plan.
The LTCA will be expected to shift priorities as the daily needs of the residents, house and team requires. The LTCA's will gain experience and skills working directly with residents living in long term care and working in a collaborative team environment.
Salary: As per Northwood Scale
Hours: 64 hours bi-weekly (8 hour shifts)
Effective: Immediately
