  • Location: Long Sault, ON K0C 1P0
  • Salary: 70,000 to 100,000 annually (To be negotiated) / 40 to 50 hours per week
  • Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time
  • Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call, Flexible hours, Overtime available
  • Work must be completed at the physical location; no option to work remotely.
  • Language: Spanish
Responsibilities
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Professionalism in customer service
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform brake adjustments
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
