Job summary

A small family-owned transportation dealership is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join their Ameritruck Logistics Team. This role involves assisting the GM of Operations with tracking inventory and communicating with customers regarding equipment issues and statuses. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and proficiency with computer applications. Compensation ranges from $17 to $20 per hour, with additional benefits including a 401(k) match program and health insurance premium assistance.

Qualifications

  • Prior account relations experience preferred in any industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the GM of Operations in tracking purchased inventory by location.
  • Communicate and track equipment issues or delays.
  • Contact locations upon purchase to determine status and confirm readiness for pickup.
  • Keep customers informed on trucks in process or completed.
  • Assist team as needed, including parts pickup and DMV paperwork.

The ideal candidate must have flexibility in daily job assignments, be detail-oriented, and have a strong desire to get things accomplished.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the GM of Operations in tracking all purchased inventory by location
  • Communicate & track equipment issues or delays
  • Contact locations upon purchase to determine the status and confirm it's ready for pickup
  • Keep customers informed on trucks in process or completed
  • Assist team as needed (ie, parts pickup/local driver shuttle/help admin team with DMV paperwork, etc.)
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills utilizing the telephone
  • Prior account relations experience preferred (any industry)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask efficiently
  • Computer experience utilizing spreadsheets, Word and Outlook
Compensation

$17 - $20 hourly
