Responsibilities

  • Conduire des camions de bois en toute sécurité et efficacement.
  • Maintenir les objectifs de productivité et d'utilisation en travaillant de manière autonome.
  • Effectuer des contrôles quotidiens du véhicule et s'assurer que la cargaison est sécurisée.
  • Collaborer avec les opérateurs de chargeurs pour assurer des opérations fluides.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education– High School diploma required.
  • Licensing– Valid Class 1 Driver’s License or equivalent.
  • Experience– Truck driving and woods experience is an asset.
  • Mechanical skills– General truck mechanical knowledge is considered an asset.
  • Reliability– Must have dependable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

  • Operate safely and efficiently– Drive log trucks in accordance with J.D. Irving, Limited’s Best Management Practices and legal requirements.
  • Meet production targets– Maintain productivity and utilization goals while working independently in remote environments.
  • Perform inspections– Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure cargo is secure and safe for transport.
  • Collaborate with loaders– Work as a team with log loader operators to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
