Job summary

A property management company located in Victoria is seeking an individual with a passion for customer service to manage and maintain residential properties. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintenance, collecting rent, conducting inspections, and leasing units. The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience and be available for evening and weekend shifts. A post-secondary education in a related field is desirable. Responsibilities
  • Applicant must love people, be versatile, hands‑on with cleaning and maintenance tasks and take ownership of the site
  • Successful applicants must have a flexible schedule and be available to work evenings and weekends
  • Collect rent and follow up on defaults
  • Inspections of vacant and upcoming suites
  • Lease and show suites
  • Annual suite inspections
  • Prepare and deliver bank deposits
  • Ensure contractors arrive as per scheduled timelines and complete their work per conditions of the contract
  • Clean common areas of the building including entrances, elevators, offices, halls, stairwells, laundry rooms, garbage rooms, and amenity rooms
  • Clean vacant suites and complete suite touch‑ups
  • Interior and exterior garbage pick‑up
  • Assist with snow removal and touch‑up painting as required
  • Complete other tasks as assigned
Experience And Educational Requirements
  • 2 years customer service experience required
  • Post‑Secondary education in related field is an asset
Technical Requirements
  • Computer experience is required with web‑based programs preferred
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing systems and new technology
  • Familiarity with technology is an asset
Non‑Technical Requirements
  • Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to take responsibility for all actions and decisions and to follow through until a resolution is obtained
  • Exceptional problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude, enthusiasm and assertiveness
  • Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
  • Ability to maneuver or lift up to 10 kg with the proper equipment
