Overview

Join our Team at Lacombe Liquor Store! We are seeking a Liquor Supervisor to join our dynamic team at the Lacombe Liquor Store in Lacombe. Part-time: 24 - 36 hours per week. Benefits eligible after 3 months. If you are coming from out of province, please remember you need to have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider. Availability: Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all customers are greeted in a friendly manner
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist in reducing theft and loss
  • Offer product expertise and guidance
  • Assist with the management of team members and operate point-of-sale terminals accurately and efficiently
  • Receive, display, and promote merchandise with proper care and attention
  • Perform opening and closing duties with thorough attention to detail
  • Support the manager in organizing, directing, and coordinating the department to achieve budgeted goals
  • Ensure compliance with Central Alberta Co-op and AGLC’s policies
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to work in the Liquor Store environment
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Must have valid ProServe certification
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills
  • Previous retail experience is an asset
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to consecutively lift 50 lbs. required for unloading pallets
