Job summary

A leading lighting solutions company in Hamilton, Ontario is seeking a detailed-oriented Product Development Coordinator to support day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will maintain schedules, assist with documentation, and support product testing. Ideal candidates hold a degree in Electrical Engineering and are proficient in Excel. This role offers flexibility and various responsibilities related to product coordination and technical support.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Lighting Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong document discipline and written communication.
  • Excel/Google Sheets proficiency (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
  • Familiarity with DMX512/RDM addressing.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain PD schedules, risk/action logs, and decision logs.
  • Assist on Approved Vendor Lists (AVLs) and SOPs.
  • Prepare sample/tooling purchase orders with Sourcing.
  • Set up and test DMX/RDM and SPI fixtures.

Skills

Strong document discipline
Written communication
Excel/Google Sheets proficiency
Familiarity with DMX512/RDM

Education

Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering
Lighting Technology or a related field
