What you’ll be doing :

You will be a welcomed member of the Shasta Care Community team and impact in the following ways :

  • Provide nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician’s orders, the resident plan of care, and within the scope of practice of an LPN.
  • Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure delivery of excellent nursing and personal care.
  • Create a welcoming and supportive environment for residents through teamwork and effective communication with staff.
  • Oversee resident care, including regular communication with residents and their families, and provide guidance to staff.
  • Supervise the Personal Support Workers / Unregulated team members assigned to the unit.
  • Manage admission, readmission, and change in status, providing ongoing assessment to residents.

Who you are :

  • In good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta.
  • Experience in Geriatrics, Rehabilitation, and/or senior health industry is an asset.
  • Good judgment, risk identification skills, and ability to foster a positive work environment.
