Legal Advisor – Global Equity & ESPP Compliance

What you’ll do

Key responsibilities include implementing and managing a global regulatory compliance program, focusing on Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) and equity plan compliance for all countries, and coordinating with global and regional teams, subject matter experts and external counsel. You will act as project manager in establishing a global ESPP and equity plan compliance program, covering securities, exchange control, tax, labour law and other regulatory considerations; manage a centralized compliance database and project management platform for ESPP and equity plans; monitor and interpret global regulatory changes and ensure timely updates to processes; coordinate regulatory filings with regional and Global legal and tax teams; provide legal support on securities law matters relevant to a publicly traded company, especially related to executive compensation; assist in the preparation of the Management Information Circular; and perform related tasks.
