Qualifications

  • Engage in clinical teaching within the Gateway Team‑Based Care Teaching Clinic.
  • Occasionally deliver lectures or facilitate workshops for students.
  • Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of health professionals on site.
  • Contribute to the assessment, evaluation, and improvement of learners in the clinical setting.
  • Support the development and implementation of team‑based education and care practices at the clinic.
  • Lead and/or participate in quality improvement initiatives and scholarly activities related to collaborative health education.

Salary: $130,000/year to $140,000/year, plus benefits, at 1.0 FTE (pro‑rated based on actual FTE).

Position: The School of Nursing at the University of British Columbia – Vancouver campus invites applications for up to three non‑tenure‑track faculty positions at the rank of Lecturer. These positions will be between 0.60 and 1.0 FTE. The initial appointment will be for a one‑year term with the possibility of reappointment subject to demonstrated excellence in teaching. The position is also expected to engage in clinical supervision and service contributions to advance collaborative health education, practice or quality improvement. The successful applicant will contribute to the assessment and evaluation of learners in the clinical setting of the Gateway Team‑Based Care Teaching Clinic, working with students from nursing and other health professional programs. The incumbent will engage in clinical teaching, and possibly some lecturing through a variety of instructional methods, such as the occasional guest speaker or workshop facilitator. This role will require you to work on‑site at the Gateway Clinic alongside an interdisciplinary team of health professionals. The anticipated start date is March 16, 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter.
