As the Learning Developer you will be integral part of the Learning & Talent team, driving innovative solutions to support our company's diverse operations by identifying and addressing their unique learning and development needs. You will design and deliver engaging, learner-focused training materials like courses, videos, and guides. Collaborating closely with Learning Specialists on the team and with Subject Matter Experts across Ledcor. This role allows you to make a lasting difference, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth within the organization.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and update eLearning programs, courses, and instructional materials across diverse formats (e.g., interactive modules, video tutorials, infographics, and microlearning)
  • Incorporate learner feedback to continuously improve and optimize learning solutions
  • Ensure all content aligns with adult learning principles, company branding, and accessibility standards
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Learning Specialists to gather insights and ensure accuracy, engagement, and alignment with operational goals
  • Manage an efficient review process to maintain high content quality and accuracy
  • Communicate project timelines, milestones, and progress clearly and effectively to stakeholders
  • Provide end-to-end project coordination support, including tracking milestones, updating schedules, and reporting on progress
  • Proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, adjusting timelines to ensure on-time delivery
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and learning opportunities
  • Develop design documents, scripts, and storyboards grounded in instructional design best practices
  • Measure and evaluate learning effectiveness and learner engagement to drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
  • Diploma in Instructional Design, Education, Graphic Design or related field
  • 2 years in a learning or instructional design role
  • Experience with course creation, video production/editing, and graphics
  • Demonstrated ability to make technical material engaging
  • Strong project coordination skills and proven ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent written, communication, editing and proofreading skills
  • Strong Customer Service focus
Working Conditions
  • Hybrid role with 1-2 days per week in office and having the flexibility to attend the office as the business requires
Compensation

$60,000-$82,500 Annual

This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
