S&C is continuing to grow. Where do you come in? We are looking for a knowledgeable Co-op student to join our team as a Lean Performance Systems (LPS) Assistant.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and wants to gain valuable work experience.

Work Term: Winter 2026 (4 months: Jan - Apr) or (8 months: Jan - Aug)

Work Arrangement: On-site, 5 days per week
Shift: Day Shift (Mon - Fri, 6:30am - 3pm)

As a Lean Performance Systems Assistant, you will
  • Conduct time studies.
  • Analyze current processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Understand and help with the standard work method development.
  • Support in the 5S blitzes and prepare documents.
  • Support in the Kaizen activities and standard work
  • Contribute to the culture of Continuous Improvement.
  • Support identifyingwastes and implementing process improvements.
  • Implement improvement actions by supporting the change in the teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Who are we looking for? Someone who
  • Pursuing an Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering Diploma/Degree or related field in a post-secondary institution.
  • Is registered and eligible for the co-op starting in the Winter 2026 work term.
  • Has strong mechanical/mathematical aptitude and manual dexterity.
  • Is detail-oriented.
  • Has good communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision.
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
