What are your contributions to the team?
  • You will be responsible for planning, organizing, motivating, and supervising the activities of ten to fifteen salaried from our Methods groups.
  • You will be responsible of a team supporting production line of the St-Laurent facility, but also implement engineering change. You may be responsible for process revisions and implementation.
  • You will assume all HR responsibilities of a team, financial management and technology development department and improvements projects.
  • You will have to coordinate methods activities across internal Bombardier functions.
  • You will also define and control the processes that link the department with external stakeholders and ensure you provide excellent customer service.
  • You will also lead and support continuous improvement initiatives.
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:
  • You have experience with detail part manufacturing for aerospace or assembly
  • You have project management relevant experience
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or industrial engineering, or a college diploma with several years of experience working in a Methods or Quality team.
  • You have minimum of five (5) years’ experience
  • You have excellent management skills.
  • You have knowledge in lean manufacturing.
  • You have good judgment, flexibility, you are results oriented, able to work under minimum supervision and you observe tight delivery deadlines.
  • You have many resources, and you are ready to work in a winning team.
  • You have strong organizational skills and excellent technical knowledge; you demonstrate a certain talent incommunication and leadership.
  • You have previous project management experience, would be an asset.
