Job summary

A leading academic institution in Winnipeg is seeking a clinician-scientist for a Chair in Women's Heart Health. This role offers the opportunity to conduct independent research, foster clinician training, and engage in collaborative research efforts. Qualified candidates will have an MD or MD/PhD and a strong background in cardiovascular research. The position, open to internal and external candidates, has a term of five years beginning July 1, 2026.

Qualifications

  • Strong track record in cardiovascular research with publications.
  • Experience teaching and mentoring.
  • Eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent research in Women’s Heart Health.
  • Foster training of clinicians and scientists.
  • Promote research interactions within and outside the Department.
