About the Role

BakerHicks is looking for a skilled and motivated Lead Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical engineering delivery across a variety of exciting building services projects in Scotland. This is a leadership role for someone with strong technical expertise, project management experience, and a passion for mentoring teams and building client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead mechanical services design and delivery (HVAC, plumbing, etc.)
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
  • Conduct technical reviews and ensure quality compliance
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients on key projects
  • Support team development and contribute to strategic growth
What We’re Looking For
  • Chartered Engineer (or working towards chartership) with CIBSE or equivalent
  • Proven experience in delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Navisworks, NBS Chorus, and ideally Revit or IES
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
