We are currently seeking Lead Hands to join our team at our Wisconsin facility.

Wage:$22.00-$25.00 per hour, wages based on skills and experience

Shifts:

Stanpac currently has two shift options available for this position. Please indicate your preference during the screening process.

  • 2 nd shift – Monday to Friday, 3PM-11:30PM
  • 3 rd shift – Sunday to Thursday, 11PM-7:30AM

*please note training for the incoming candidate to 3rd shift may be required to take place on 1 st shift. Once training is complete, then the person will be able to be placed onto 3 rd shift.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Review and interpret work orders to ensure correct materials are staged for production runs.
  • Accurately break down skids for correct bottle quantities.
  • Label and organize raw materials for machine loading.
  • Ensure sample and 2-pass orders are executed to standards and approved before production.
  • Conduct secondary quality checks in collaboration with Printer.
  • Confirm product matches work order and sample approvals.
  • Complete and document quality checks and raw materials on the Stanpac Ink Website or paper back up copies if site is down.
  • Review and escalate non-conforming product, manage the On Hold area, and follow escalation procedures.
  • Supervise Loaders/Unloaders, Material Handlers, and temporary associates and ensure compliance with safety and task requirements.
  • Provide clear instruction, arrange for translation support if needed, and document communication with management.
  • Notify management of under-runs, over-runs, and order changes.
  • Use barcode system for issuing raw materials.
  • Tag and return unused raw materials according to guidelines.
  • Maintain inventory integrity and ensure packaging components are correctly labeled and stored.
  • Enforce PPE and Health and Safety Compliance.
  • Ensure proper storage of empty boxes and handling of post-oven product.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical documents.
  • Understanding of safety protocols, particularly around hazardous materials (e.g., inks, Varsol).
  • Familiarity with bottle decorating processes and equipment such as Kammann(s) and Spray Line.
  • Prior experience in a production environment preferred.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience is an asset.
  • Basic computer knowledge for barcode and inventory software.
  • Ability to use and interpret visual inventory systems.
  • Team-oriented, dependable, and safety-conscious.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Physical Requirements:This job is performed within a plant environment.

  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel and lift up to 50lbs repetitively.
  • Ability to adapt to changing climate conditions, air-borne particles, and noisy conditions.
  • Must be willing to wear required Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Must be able to work full time hours.
