JOB TITLE: ACCOUNT MANAGER

EXEMPT: YES  LOCATION: ONTARIO

REPORTS TO: Regional Manager
DAYS: Monday - Friday

SUMMARY: The Account Manager is the person who makes sure the projects are clean, green and detailed. All punch list items generated will be completed in a timely manner working with Crew Supervisors, Staff and Irrigation Technicians. Reports to the Regional Manager and supports their needs to move the property in the direction of the goals set for the property.

Responsibilities
  • To service maintenance accounts, completion of punch lists, service requests and site walks with follow up communication with client and Mission management.
  • Manage Crew Supervisors, Staff and Irrigation Technicians with direction to complete the maintenance specification. Grass, Weeds, Trimming, Clean and Safety mantra followed.
  • To keep our clients happy and maintain accounts to the maintenance specifications.
  • Managing, training and coaching the Crew Supervisors, Staff and Irrigation Technicians in alignment with company values.
  • Turning in staff payroll, invoicing and proposals on minor items and other paper work on time.
  • Monthly reports of equipment and tool inventories.
  • Monthly truck reports.
  • Interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • To keep accounts and staff operating safely, productively and on target with profit goals.
Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); minimum three years related Account Manager experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SKILLS:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. Fluent in English skills (verbal and written) required; verbal bilingual skills (English/Spanish).

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY:

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Valid California drivers license with a Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) driving record acceptable to the company's insurance carrier, and a California state Pest Control Applicator's License.
